| May 22, 2007 | The Bicentennial Committee has a web site of their own up and running. Hopefully, this site will be updated with information as events and activities are planned. The site may be accessed here. |
| August 24, 2006 | The committee decided to set the dates of the Bicentennial celebration for the days of 27 April through 2 May 2009. As specific events are planned, they will be scheduled for specific days and times within that 6-day period. |
